Hi, I'm Dana and like many women, I learned the truth about fertility later than I should have. At 36, healthy and active, I believed I had time, until my IVF journey showed me how complex, emotional, and misunderstood fertility really is.
That experience changed me. It revealed how little we're taught about our bodies, how reactive the system is, and how isolating fertility decisions can feel, even with support.
Gatachi was born from a simple belief: women deserve clarity, control, and compassion when it comes to their fertility.
My mission is to help women understand that fertility is time sensitive, that knowledge is empowering, and that you don't need a crisis to take action.
Whether motherhood is now, later, or still undecided, Gatachi gives you the tools to protect your options and plan with confidence.

The science behind Gatachi
Omar Ammar is our Senior Clinical Embryologist and female fertility preservation researcher. He has over eight years of experience in research and IVF labs and has worked on optimising ovarian tissue culture techniques at the University of Oxford.
Omar is an active contributor to the field of human reproduction, advocating for evidence-based medicine and equitable access to fertility care through formal channels of publication and science communication on social media. He serves on the editorial board of the ESHRE Journal Club, is a reviewer for several journals in the field, and is a speaker at international conferences and courses. He is also a committee member of the Ovarian Research Early Career Network (OvaREN).
